This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies we use, why we use them, and how you can control them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Refund Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We also use similar technologies such as local storage (for example to remember UI preferences or consent choices) and session storage where needed for the product to function.
2. How we use categories
- Strictly necessary — Required for core functionality such as authentication (for example Supabase session storage), security, load balancing, and fraud prevention. These do not rely on consent where they are strictly necessary to deliver the service you request.
- Analytics & performance — Optional. Helps us understand how the Services are used (for example aggregated usage, diagnostics, or session replay via Microsoft Clarity when session recording is enabled for the platform). Where we use Google Analytics (GA4), we configure Google consent mode so the Google tag receives default-denied consent until you opt in, then updates to match your analytics and marketing choices. We only enable third-party analytics or error monitoring that is not strictly necessary after you opt in via the cookie banner or preferences, where applicable law requires consent.
- Marketing — Optional. Used only if we deploy advertising or remarketing pixels; we will load these only after consent where required.
3. Cookie and storage inventory (examples)
Exact names may vary by release. Use your browser's developer tools to inspect storage for the current session. Typical entries:
| Name / area | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supabase auth session (browser storage) | Local / session storage | Strictly necessary — keeps you signed in securely | Session / as configured by Supabase |
| le_cookie_consent_v1 | localStorage | Strictly necessary — records your consent choices and policy version | Until cleared |
| Microsoft Clarity (if enabled) | Cookie / script | Optional analytics and session replay on the marketing site and in the signed-in app — only when you opt in to analytics and platform session recording is on; see Privacy Policy Section 2.4 | Per Microsoft / Clarity |
4. Managing preferences
You can change optional categories at any time using "Manage" in the cookie banner on our marketing site, or via the link in the site footer where provided. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent sign-in or core features from working.
